This project is located in Pontian Industrial Zone , at Johore. This is a single span single storey steel factory with a two storey reinforced concrete office shop front. Single span steel portal frame, spanning at 6 metre centre to centre was used.

This project is located in Pontian Industrial Zone at Johor.

This is a two span single storey steel factory with a three storey reinforced concrete office shop front. The scope involved the full submission of Building plan and structural design.

The sub-soil strata is a typical Pontian Marine Clay. The main building is supported by reinforced concrete pile but the factory floor is sitting on bakau piles.

The steel portion used the double span portal frame of universal beams at 6 metre centre to centre. The centre was divided by 225mm thick party wall to avoid the requirement of sprinker system which is costly.

The front of the factory has a beautiful brickwall fencing. The building front was cladded.

This project was completed in July 1996.
