The construction contract was awarded to Amcorp Builders Sdn. Bhd.- Bennes Engineering Sdn. Bhd. Joint Venture. SY Perunding was appointed as Civil and Structural Engineers by the turnkey contractors. The structural scheme adopted in the beam, slab and column design on reinforced concrete piles. A typical shop-front is 7.315m span except the corner units, which were much larger. The beam depth adopted is 550mm. This project was completed in 1998. |
