10 Storey Low Cost Apartment((1140 units, 4 Blocks)

This project was a housing scheme consisting of 2513 units of houses/shop, Surau, Dewan Serbaguna, Gerai, Elevated RC water tank, mosque and school reserve, developed on a 50 acres sites at 24 km from Kuala Lumpur and 4km from Rawang Town. The houses and shops composed of 39 units of Two Storeys Shophouses (2800 sq ft build-up each), 194 units of Two storeys medium cost link house (1150 sq ft each), 1140 units of Ten Storey Medium Cost Apartment (800 sq ft each), 1140 units of Ten storeys Low Cost Apartment (676 sq.ft ).

This project is implemented by TPPT Sdn. Bhd. using the fund "Tabung Pusingan Perumahan Kos Rendah" set up by the government with the objective to provide more affordable houses for the lower income group.

Extensive earthwork was carried out due to its low lying terrain and the presence of a steep hill at one side with a slope of 1 in 2. The drain reserve across the site ( for a catchment area of 1650 acres) was reduced from 165 feet to 66 feet width and realigned to suit this development after careful design and consultation with the authority. Two central sewerage treatment plants, located on each side of the drain reserve were designed to provide wastewater treatment to standard A standard.

Phase 1 of the project was completed with certificate of fitness(CF) obtained on July 1999. Final Phase 2 was completed with CF obtained on 4th October 2001.
