The civil infrastructure works include earthwork, roadwork, drainage system, water
reticulation system and sewerage reticulation system. SY Perunding also undertook the
structural design for bungalow unit Type A, B, B1, C and D (not type E, F and G which was
done by individual owner structural engineer) and the terrace houses.
Due to the existing constraining site condition and hilly terrain, an
economical earthwork platform level has been carefully designed. The platform levels
facilitate drainage discharge and sewerage flow using gravity system. A unique gravity
retaining structure known as Concreted Stone Retaining is constructed along part of the
site boundary adjacent to an existing road. This type of gravity retaining structure was
chosen due to the prevailing site constraint and the developers building
requirement.
An approved Sewage Treatment Plant is constructed to treat the sewage
discharge from the development. The water supply is tapped from existing PUASs main
pipe and distributed by gravity to each individual unit.
The bungalow units Type A, B, B1, C and D are of reinforced concrete column,
beam and slab system. The foundations are of reinforced concrete piles /or pad footing
respectively for each individual lot.
The construction of development started with the commencement of
infrastructure works on 15th April 2003 and completed on end of December 2003. The
structural works for bungalow units that commenced on 2nd February 2004 was completed on
15th June 2005 with the Certificate of Practical Completion issued by the project S.O.
